Welcome to the BTDT summary of our visit to ToyFair 2005, located at the Javits Center in Manhattan, NYC!  Below
is a pic of the Center, and we couldn't have had better weather for the event (well, considering it's February):

ToyFair is simply a marvel in itself..  For anyone who has ever had an opportunity to attend ToyFair and passed it up,
you are simply not a true toy collector or enthusiast.  The number of vendors that flock to this yearly event is nothing
short of amazing- And the amount of inventory they display makes your local Toys R Us or FAO Schwartz look like
a 3rd-rate dollar store..

Rather than bore you with 10 more copies of pics that are being highlighted by the "other leading brand" of Star Wars
sites, we thought it would be nice to provide you with some pics of things NOT already being covered- Obviously, you
will still see some items that are being displayed at other websites..  But, we would rather have you get to see
some things that AREN'T copied 85 times across the World Wide Web!  And now, without further ado, our ToyFair 2005
gallery- all for you...

The line of products shown from this vendor are absolutely excellent- The images shown below are part of their
new "Vivid Vision" line.  They appear as shown below when looking at them head-on.  However, movement in either
direction causes the image to change and either move in a 3D fashion, or reveal more details that are otherwise
hidden at first glance.  You can read more about this company's product line at the link above.

BABY ARM TOYS

While I was making my way through the event today, a woman approached me, eager to promote
her new product-  When she found out that I was at ToyFair to gather information for my site, she
asked if I would be kind enough to mention her new item to the masses-  So, in an act of Good Faith, here
it is!  The product is called the "Baby Arm Toy Playground", and more details are available on it at
babyarmtoys.com .  When I told her that the content of my site was predominantly for Star Wars-related
news, her reply was: "Well, I'm sure we could make one with a Star Wars theme!"  Enthusiasm like that
is definitely worth posting..  Best of luck to the gang at Baby Arm Toys!

HIGHWAY 61 COLLECTIBLES

The model below is a 1:6 scale of a 1957 Corvette.  As you can see, the size of the model is significantly
larger than most regular die-cast models.  The car will be a limited edition, in the quantity of 2500 to 5000
pieces (per the vendor rep, the amount is still being discussed).  You can view more information on this
company at highway61collectibles.com  And if you're a classic Corvette fan, be sure to check out the 1959
Corvette Registry at 59registry.com!
