Fanboys Release Date Extended Due To Help From Lucas

The latest Star Wars fan-type film on the horizon, Fanboys, has been pushed
back on its release date..  For most movies this would be a real let-down, but
in the case of this movie, it was done to allow for some great last-minute
additions- first of all Kevin Smith will be making a cameo appearance in the film.
And second, Lucas apparently liked the film so much, he has authorized for
actual Star Wars effects to be used throughout.  How cool is that?!

You can read more on the update here.  The updated release date is set for
  August 17th.

  Belloq Returns

An actor by the name of Paul Freeman (no, no relation to GORDON Freeman of
Half-Life btw) once played the role of one of Indiana Jones' rivals, Dr. Rene Belloq
in ROTLA.  However, after his moment of fame screaming "IT'S BEAUTIFUL!!!" and
then losing his head shortly after, his career seemed to fade off with the dust
  of the Ten Commandments themselves..

Fast forward 26 years- it would seem that Freeman is back on the big screen,
to play the role of Reverend Phillip Shooter in the forthcoming release, Hot Fuzz
(which sounds like porn but it's not).  You can read up on the new movie, due out
  on April 20, here.

IJ4 Update: Lucas Talks To USA Today

Lucas talked with USA Today recently regarding IJ4.  Not much of an update, but
  you can view it here.

Funny thing is, regarding Sean Connery, they claim Lucas states "We're still
trying" when it comes to bringing him on board for the cast.  The funny part is,
Connery already publicly announced he'd be glad to be involved IF
APPROACHED, and at the time (January I believe), he'd heard nothing.  So, I
guess we'll just have to wait and see who's really being the honest Injun here
  (although my money's on Connery)..
