film of the saga

Happy Birthday, Hayden!
Birthday wishes go out to the man who has filled the shoes
of Anakin
Skywalker for the final round of Star Wars! Born
April 19th, 1981 in
Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, this guy has really
come a long way.
One of his first roles was in a film called "In
The Mouth Of Madness", where you
see young Hayden riding a bicycle in a world totally bizarre
and overtaken by
evil (yes, that was him!). You can read more
on his filmography here.
There's just one thing that's really getting to me here
about Hayden's
birthday... Just 2 days ago, we were celebrating the birthday
of Anakin's
Master in ROTS, Ian McDiarmid.. Are we sure
there's no connection between
those 2???
Happy Birthday, Hayden..

Ever Wonder About Typos?
Typos on Star Wars merchandise are quite a regular occurrence
(much to
the dismay of Hasbro's QA department), but this post goes
to show that the
issue has been around since long before Hasbro even knew
what Star Wars was..
In 1977, a special promo offer was available, thanks to
Wonder Bread, where
kids just learning about the Force could pick themselves
up 16 collectible trading
cards. This set of cards highlighted most of
the characters we've all come to
affiliate with the Star Wars saga, and in addition, some
of the ships that those
characters piloted. One of the ships highlighted
is the Millennium Falcon-
However, as shown in this
scan of the trading card, someone didn't get the
memo stating that the ship's name should contain TWO 'n's,
not just one..
It's nice once in a while to reflect on such minute details
that took place when
Star Wars was still green and growing. And for
whomever made the boo boo,
don't get upset.. Everybody makes mistakes!
