Following
yesterday's info that I listed regarding Episode I on DVD, it has
just been confirmed that the release date for Episode 1 on DVD is
October 16. Apparently this information is coming from the major
retail video stores chains, and it has also been speculated that
preorders are said to start by late April early May. We'll keep
you posted!

I
keep looking but there haven't been any spectacular updates lately-
I DID however receive the newest Insider, which has some great info
on Palpatine, and since Episode II takes place 10 years after Episode
I, you can tell that he has aged significantly from the pics.. In
other news, it looks like Episode I will be officially released
sometime in the Fall on DVD!! You can get details at:
http://www.corona.bc.ca/films/TP/scoops/exclusives.html
A
friend actually ordered a copy from a source in Malaysia that was
recorded in Dolby Digital 6.1, the newest format to be released..
I'm waiting for feedback from him on the quality of the recording,
and will post those details soon!
So
is anyone out there preparing their costume for Halloween 2001 yet??
I know it seems early, but a good costume takes some dedicated time
to prep! I'm still working on the FETT suit, and now am wondering
if I should paint it in the scheme of Boba, or JANGO!! Still have
plenty of time to decide I guess..
Well,
that's all for now, stay TUNED!!

To
all of my regular readers, family, and fellow SW lovers, MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
Doesn't seem like it's possible for Christmas to be upon us again,
but that's what happens when we get older, right? "When 900
years old YOU reach, look as good YOU will not, hmmm?"
I
haven't really seen any blockbuster news out there lately regarding
the upcoming film, but we're just a little over a year away so I
should start to have more tips and new info in the next few months!
I did read recently that the planet where Jango and Boba FETT live
in the upcoming film is predominantly water, and it rains constantly..
Does this mean it was filmed in Seattle? At any rate, that is just
a rumor at this point but I will confirm or deny it as we get closer
to the film's release date.
Collection-wise,
I picked up the FAO Schwartz FAMBAA exclusive while I was out Xmas
shopping (bad time to give ME a large lump of cash and expect me
not to use any of it!!!), and recently won an R2 w/Holo Leia for
$11 on Ebay. So, they're finally getting more realistic in price!
I also haven't opened my Xmas gifts yet today, so we'll see what
else is awaiting me!! Take care and Happy Holidays!!!

Well,
sorry for the lack of updates, but to quote TPM, "No need to
report anything until we have something to report....." The
only real update that I have heard about that seems worth mentioning
at this time is that recently a new tidbit was put out about Jango
Fett and Boba... Originally, I was under the impression that Boba
was Jango's son... Well, according to recent news, he's NOT. They
are however related though.... More specifically, THE SAME PERSON????
According to the latest updates, Boba is actually the Emperor's
first attempt at cloning, and he is a direct clone of Jango. From
what I'm hearing, the Emperor wanted the stormtroopers to have an
accelerated age rate to become adults faster, and Boba was not "designed"
in this fashion. Therefore, he is given to Jango as a "gift"
in honor of Jango volunteering himself as the clone source.. Man,
if this is true, FETT lovers like myself are going to be in Heaven
when this one comes out!!!!!!!
In
other news, it is rumored that Jar Jar will be responsible for the
fall of the Republic. I was shocked to hear this as well- Then again,
after seeing what he was like in the first movie (and hating it,
for that matter....), it DOES manage to come together as a probable
truth.. Things just keep getting more and more mysterious with the
upcoming film-
Last
update, for those of you like myself who are kind of peeved at the
fact that we haven't received an issue of the Insider for a while,
it's due to some licensing complications at Lucasfilm. The mags
should be out for delivery soon, so fear not. I just hope that with
the amount of time they've had to put this one together, it BETTER
be chock full 'o' good dirt!!! More news later-

A
tip out on the web this morning states that Anthony Daniels has
revealed that C-3PO will NOT be completed in Episode II.. The info
states:
Anthony
Daniels just appeared on UK kid's show Live & Kicking to plug
the Star Wars Trilogy and revealed that C-3PO will not be completed
in Episode II. After playing a clip from Star Wars, Daniels, standing
in front of a full-size C-3PO costume, was asked if he looked like
that in Episode II, to which he replied "no, that's how I look
in episodes IV, V & VI, in this he's all wires." He then
went on to explain that puppeteering C-3PO in Episode II was "like
steering a car".
Seems
kind of odd, since reports speculate that Anakin will turn to the
Dark Side at the end of Episode II... I seriously doubt that if
that takes place, Vader would say "Oh CRAP I knew I forgot
something..." and go back to complete him in Episode III...
Then again, could that be why C-3PO states in Episode IV that his
last master was Captain Antilles?? Interesting..
In
other news, it is rumored that a new Friday the 13th movie will
be released in April, where Jason Voorhees is back from the dead
AGAIN, this time however, to clean house on...... A Space Station....
I don't know what's more scary- the movie itself, or the fact that
people will pay $8 to get in and SEE it!!! Nonetheless, you probably
are wondering why I mentioned it here? Well, it was filmed in FULL
DIGITAL... Sound like any other films you know that are being done
this way?? Hmm??? How about EPISODE II...

Well,
just 3 more days till Halloween... Do you have your SW costume done
yet? I had to put my bounty hunter suit aside since I knew that
I would never have it done in time for this year, so I went with
the Royal Guard suit as I mentioned below.. Last nite I wore it
to a Halloween party and it was a HIT! Thanks to all of you out
there on the WWW who assisted me in getting the supplies together
and helping out with all of the last minute questions! I am getting
the pics developed today or tomorrow and plan to have them out here
for all to check out...
Is
it just me or has there really been nothing to report lately about
Episode II? Ever since the storyboards came out nothing has matched
their SPOILER quality... The official site has a new Episode II
Select pic, but that's about it... In the event that you missed
any updates recently, it was confirmed by a magazine in Australia
that the Stormtroopers are all clones of one person... That person
being, JANGO FETT. Pretty interesting. I wonder if we'll get to
see them without the helmets on while the cloning is taking place..
In
the toy show world, there are some shows this weekend in PA on the
29th... One is in Gilbertsville, which is listed mainly for model
cars and diecasts, and the other is in Limerick, at the Fire Hall
on route 422. If you want more info, just shoot us an email and
I'll get you more specifics like the times, costs to get in, etc.
I won't be going to any, as I am broke from hitting all of the clearance
sales!!! There will however be more shows coming up next weekend,
which I'll list sometime during the week.. If you go to one of the
2 I've listed here today, take advantage of the holiday and go IN
COSTUME! I always love seeing people's custom work when I hit these
things..
Well
I guess that sums it up for now... Stay tuned for those pics from
the party!
Whew!
Sorry folks for the delayed update... I go to school 2 nites a week
for my MCSE after work, I've been working diligently on my Halloween
costume for this year, and there haven't been really any SHOCKING
updates like that storyboard one, so I've been a little lax in the
updating... I guess the main thing I would like to address today
is Halloween.. It is coming up fast, and if you have any pics yet
of your costume, please EMAIL US and we will post them here for
you for all to see! I myself will be attending a party this year
as an Emperor's Royal Guard, since my FETT gear is not yet completed..
Target date is for opening day of Episode II in 2002 (just a little
more than a year away now!!!!). Also, this should really be on the
toy update section, but there have been some GREAT SW toy deals
in our area here in MD and DE.. Figures have been $1.97, accessory
paks for $.50, some GREAT stuff! So get out there and look around,
you may find some great deals on clearance items!
Well
that's it for now, have to get back to work on the suit... JUST
9 DAYS TILL HALLOWEEN!

Man
am I still recooperating from the mega-spoiler with the storyboards!
Believe it or not, they were out on the web for about 12 hrs, then
Lucasfilm stepped in and put down the iron boot on all of the sites
that were showing the images (the ones that come to mind were www.aldera.net,
www.nabooonline.com, and, believe it or not, www.sirstevesguide.com!!
Of all the 3, Steve's site was the last to take them down!! I was
shocked that they were even up at his site!!!! If you would like
to be emailed with the layout of the storyboards (not the images,
mind you... I don't want George owning our page...), feel free to
email us and we can send you that information...
In
light of the newest info that the storyboards provided, a fan has
drawn up the following concept image of the battle scene between
Jango and Obi Wan.. He apologized that he didn't have time to add
in the rain 8^]
I
thought that was pretty cool.. Also in the news, the French version
of the SW Insider has confirmed that Christopher Lee's character,
Count Dooku, will in fact be using a lightsaber in parts of the
film.. Man at this rate, the only character that DOESN'T have a
light tool assigned to him is Salacious Crumb!! But keep in mind,
we still have 2 YEARS to go, so maybe they'll change their minds
and give HIM one too!! I can hear that laugh of his now....
Last
thing.. We haven't really received much feedback yet on the site,
so please email us with your thoughts, comments, criticisms, muffin
recipes, whatever! We'd love to hear from ya!!

news later on this Outer Rim Station.....

Today
is a BIG day in the spoiler world for Episode II!!! It seems that
the storyboards for 2 of the fight scenes have somehow "leaked"
out... The details can be seen at www.nabooonline.com!! Boy I'll
bet ole George is pretty upset TODAY! Revealed are a fight scene
between Jango Fett and Obi Wan, and another with him against Mace
Windu!! Unbelievable! God Bless the INTERNET!

One
of the fans/workers on the set that saw the pic that was supposedly
Joel Oz (see below) has come forward to say that this actor's name
is Daniel Logan. And an addition to their commentary was that until
they saw him in this costume, they claimed that the word on the
set was that he was to play the young......BOBA FETT!! Boy if THIS
doesn't make things exciting!! Could you imagine, Boba Fett originally
going thru training to be a JEDI? It was always speculated by many
that he was force sensitive, but not THAT sensitive!!! We'll see
as time progresses whether or not this rumor is true!!! Man how
exciting...

Doesn't
seem to be a whole lot of upcoming news out there as of this morning-
We will definitely make updates regularly though on recent spoilers,
tips, insights, and officially released news.. I have however added
an image of the French magazine that is out right now, and includes
an interview with Christoper Lee regarding his role in the next
film. Feel free to email us with any updates or speculation you
would like to provide on the forthcoming prequel, Episode II!!!!!!
